Scott comes to Thrive from outside the home mortgage industry. Purchasing a small 3 person company in 2002, he grew his company into the leading gourmet food brokerage in the Western United States. In 2013 he sold the company to the minority shareholders and “retired”. Over the next 3 years he studied for ministry and upon gaining his ministerial license, was hired by a large church in Northern California as the Pastor of Community Development and also pastored the Marriage Ministry with his wife Debbie. 

Scott has consulted for various ministries and for profit businesses and finds joy in helping others. He has been married to Debbie for over 40 years, has 4 kids and 7 grandkids, and lives in Tennessee.
